1. overview

iwant.fyi is a reverse marketplace where buyers post what they want and providers respond with offers. By using this platform, you agree to these terms.

2. accounts

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use iwant.fyi
  • One account per person

3. posting rules

When posting on iwant.fyi, you agree to:

  • Post only legitimate requests for goods, services, or other needs
  • Set honest and reasonable prices
  • Provide accurate location information
  • Not post illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
  • Not post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Not spam or post duplicate content
  • Limit posts to 5 per day

4. responding to posts

  • Providers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding before responding
  • A response fee is charged when you submit a response (non-refundable)
  • Response fees vary by post price: under $50 = 5% (min $1), $50-$100 = 7.5%, over $100 = flat $5
  • Respond honestly and only to requests you can fulfill

5. payments

All payments are processed by Stripe. iwant.fyi does not store your payment information. Response fees are non-refundable. Transactions between buyers and providers occur outside the platform -- iwant.fyi facilitates the connection but is not a party to the transaction.

6. content moderation

  • Users can flag inappropriate posts
  • Posts that receive multiple flags may be automatically closed
  • We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion
  • Abuse of the flagging system may result in account suspension

7. liability

iwant.fyi is a platform that connects buyers with providers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items or services offered. Users transact at their own risk. iwant.fyi is not responsible for disputes between users.

8. termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hi@iwant.fyi

9. changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
